  Enrollment / Predeparture / Orientation

In order to enroll students should check the eligibility for each program option, then fill out an application form. Once a student is accepted, a 50% deposit is due to confirm placement. Students who enroll in a Benedictine College program must also pay a deposit directly to the College in order to confirm their enrollment for credit transfer.

Once the deposit is paid, students are officially enrolled, however full payment of the course must be received in order to receive the documentation needed to request a student visa. No placement spot, either in courses or housing, will be guaranteed until full course payment is made. Cancellation policies may be viewed here.

Predeparture: Students and CLIC Coordinators should be in touch throughout the predeparture period for questions that arise during the visa process, and any doubts or preparatory queries.

In terms of credit transfer, students are advised to be in contact with their home universities and have course equivalencies determined and approved by the appropriate departments before departure.

Once officially enrolled, students will receive an informational packet to help them prepare for their program and trip. No more than two weeks before arrival students will receive their housing details.

Orientation: The first morning of classes students will go to a New Student Reception, and that afternoon they will have a guided tour of the city and pertinent places close by such as the post office, etc. They will also receive information about how to successfully manage culture shock and an orientation about living, studying and/or interning in Spain.
