Students can earn academic credit at Benedictine College for shorter language programs of 3-9 weeks for summer courses, gap courses, mini-semester or trimester courses. Four to twelve credit hours are available from Benedictine College for short-term programs.

 
Content courses (Hispanic Studies) and Spanish for Special Purposes courses take place in modules of 4 weeks (less intensive) for a total of 3 credit hours each course, and are typically offered during the first and last four weeks of each academic semester, in conjunction with language classes.
