Long-term FoCUS Programs refer to programs of 12-14 weeks length , the minimum to be considered a full-time, semester student, and commonly referred to as Semester or Year Programs.
The courses that comprise the program are: -3 weeks of Intensive Spanish before semester´s beginning (20 classes a week) -8 hours a week of language courses focusing on grammar and conversation and covering the four skill areas: speaking, listening, reading, writing -2-4 content classes in the focus area taken at CLIC or the University of Seville. -possibility of a 6 week internship at semester's end
The total credit hours per semester is between 15-18 and pronounced linguistic improvement as well as in-depth knowledge in a FoCUS field. Each program lasts a semester, and students may combine these for a year-long program, if desired. The program works with beginners up to advanced level students.
