Get Abroad for a Changing World:  Spring 2011 Scholarships for Semester Programs

Scholarships for All Majors:

The time to study abroad is now. The world may seem more complicated as we wrestle with a changing economy, but its international needs are also growing and shifting, and with them the challenges of our future.

Studying abroad allows you to change your perspective, and perspective shifting is an invaluable skill for a complex world. Studying abroad long-term also noticeably improves language acquisition and intercultural competence. For this reason, to encourage students to chose programs that allow them to stay abroad longer and improve their skill set, CLIC has established a scholarship program for students applying for semester programs at CLIC.

Select applicants for the Spring 2011 FoCUS program and the Benedictine College Semester program may receive scholarships of up to 500 USD each to help defray the cost of studying abroad for a semester.

In order to apply, you must be enrolling in one of the two programs, have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, and write a 500 word essay, double-spaced, on how studying abroad in Seville with CLIC will positively alter your future for a fast-changing world.
