You can consult with Reception, your favorite professor or the Cultural Program Coordinator on the best tapas bars, which nightclubs by the river have the breeziest terrace, or what to see during the theater, dance or flamenco festivals. Also, in the main patio in the school you will find an information area with brochures, newspapers brought in daily in a number of languages and notices for cultural happenings in the city.
Another place to look is on-line, at the media library
or on your laptop over the wireless connection. We suggest in particular the website: http://www.elgiraldillo.es/,
for the cultural city rag El Giradillo.
It has a range of cultural events, activities, workshops, academic lectures, and more. These are conveniently divided by area: Cine, Teatro, Música, etc. This site and the paper version are in Spanish.
Another magazine, geared toward younger, hipper crowds and focusing on events occurring in the downtown area (so, near CLIC!) is Youthing,
available for free in paper version at CLIC, bars, stores, and other public locations downtown. The digital version can be perused here: http://www.youthing.org/.
